Welcome back, Ero readers! This week we’re switching things up a bit as we kick off our new series, A Look at Local, where we highlight one of the many amazing local businesses that reside in Salt Lake City. Now that spring is officially underway, we’re probably all ready to shed the winter layer and revamp our warm weather wardrobe. But with that readiness, however, often come feelings of frustration, or what we like to call “I Can’t Decide On What My Personal Style Is”-itis. With that in mind, we chose to kick off this series by highlighting a local vintage store: Vantage Vintage!

Nestled in the heart of Salt Lake City, Vantage Vintage features hand-picked, gently-worn (but well-loved) pieces. One sweep through the store will show you that their stock is carefully curated, and that they truly have a passion for (vintage, sustainable) fashion. As per the large neon sign on their wall, their motto is “Save the planet, shop vintage.” Well put, Vantage, well put. Places like Vantage are a great way to mitigate “I Can’t Decide On What My Personal Style Is”-itis because every single item is different. You can find items of clothing in a ton of different styles – no need to contain yourself to a singular style box!

Why vintage, you ask? I mean, we could go on and on about why vintage: it’s more sustainable, you find one-of-a-kind pieces, you’re supporting a local business and community, it’s a great way to spend time with your loved ones, it allows you to explore a plethora of different styles without breaking the bank – the list goes on and on. We love that Vantage makes vintage shopping easy, fun, and accessible for everyone. We’ll even go so far as to say that they are a staple of the Salt Lake community!

With a website coming soon(!!), Vantage is also accessible via their award-worthy Instagram page, where they keep their followers abreast of their latest finds and coolest pieces (they’ll even show you how they would style them). For even more details on what they’re carrying at the moment, you can check out their showroom
