This week we are shining the spotlight on another one of our amazing technicians: meet Asia, a waxer extraordinaire. Asia has been working in the beauty industry since 2013, and had some amazing insights to offer!

  1. When did you join Ero Edge?

I joined the team in September 2018.

  1. What led you to a career in the beauty industry?

I knew I wanted to pursue a career in the beauty industry from a very early age, about 12 years old. I watched a family member close to me suffer from acne for many years. I always wished I knew how to help them treat it. From that point on I had a growing passion for all things skincare and beauty.

  1. What’s your favorite thing about working with the Ero Edge team?

My favorite thing about working with the Ero Edge team is the friendly, encouraging and inviting atmosphere we have all created. I feel so grateful I get to work alongside each and every one of them.

  1. What’s your current fave beauty product?

One of my favorite beauty products right now would definitely be the Sal-X Exfoliating Cleanser from Glymed. My face has been more prone to breakouts recently due to all the mask wearing. This cleanser treats acne at its source with a combined power of 2% Salicylic Acid, Aloe Vera, and exfoliating beads. It will slough away layers of dead skin, absorb excess oil, and purge impurities inside the pores. It’s also great for men!

  1. What’s your favorite service to perform, and why?

One of my favorite services to perform would have to be a Brow Wax + Tint. I love how happy and confident my clients are after getting a fresh wax and tint.

  1. If you didn’t have the job you have now, what would you be doing?

Criminal Psychology. I’m very fascinated with studying the views, thoughts, intentions, actions and reactions of criminals and all who participate in criminal behavior.

  1. Where is the first place you are going to travel post-COVID?

Anywhere that’s warm, with a beach and beautiful views.

  1. If you could have dinner with one celebrity, dead or alive, who would it be?

Marilyn Monroe. I love that she embraced who she was and wasn’t afraid of being different from the social norm in her era.

  1. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10 years?

I see myself growing, learning and thriving in my business life and traveling the world with my beautiful family.

  1. If you could give your younger self one piece of advice, what would it be?

WEAR YOUR DANG SUNSCREEN!

We love having Asia on our team! You can find her on Instagram @saltcitywaxed, or book a session to work with her in person!
