Known for her passion for her work and attention to detail, Erika Rodriguez has been on the Ero Edge team since 2019. A worthy candidate of our spotlight series, Erika loves using her craft as a way to help people put their best face forward and feel their most confident. 

 

When did you join the Ero Edge team? 

In December 2019.

 

What led you to a career in the beauty industry? 

I’ve always loved makeup, so one day I went in for a consultation to get my brows microbladed and left thinking, “I can totally do this myself.” 

 

What’s your favorite thing about working with the Ero Edge team? 

That there is no competing; we inspire and encourage each other to grow. It’s such a positive & healthy work environment.

 

If you could give your younger self one piece of advice, what would it be? 

I would tell myself to love my body more and stop trying to fit into an unrealistic mold that the world had me thinking was beautiful. 

 

What’s your favorite service to perform, and why? 

I love brows. To see what a transformation it gives to my clients is so fulfilling!

 

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10 years? 

I see myself enjoying life with my family, loving my job and offering more services at Ero Edge such as areola and cleft lip restoration through tattooing. 

 

What’s your current fave beauty product? 

Dermalogica Facial Moisturizer. It’s keeping my skin hydrated so that my makeup goes on seamlessly. 

 

If you didn’t have the job you have now, what would you be doing? 

Health Care!

 

If you could travel anywhere where would it be? 

Hawaii! 

 

If you could have dinner with one celebrity, alive or dead, who would it be? 

Ruth Bader Ginsburg
